Meet Wendy Johnson, former LA fashion industry professional turned crop and livestock farmer based in Charles City, Iowa. After spending years in the city, Johnson was yearning for a change–a life with more meaning. So she moved back to her family farm, where she found newfound purpose through reconnection to land and food.
Her experience as a farmer helped her find her place in the ecosystem that humans, plants, and animals share–and she farms in a way that shows it.
