To celebrate and share our Prairie Strips Project, we created a seed mix designed specifically for the upper Midwest and packaged it up into seed packets to share with our fellow Midwesterners. With over 40 varieties of forbs, legumes, and grasses, this prairie mix is designed to mimic the native Tallgrass Prairie found across the Driftless Region of the Midwest. This 1oz packet will plant about 250 square feet. Inspired by the ridgetop fields at Meadowlark Organics in Ridgeway, Wisconsin, this seed mix integrates beautifully next to a home garden or as a pollinator habitat anywhere that has full sun.
