We work with beginning farmers, established ranchers, and everyone in between. What matters is your curiosity and commitment towards regeneration. We start by meeting you where you are, listening, and helping you articulate your vision, goals, and context. We go deep when the work calls for it, assessing land, water, infrastructure, and management systems. And we’re just as ready to help you check off the next thing on your list and keep moving. From there, we support practical, farm-specific improvements that are steward-led, ones that build soil health, strengthen ecological resilience, and align with real business goals, whether that’s redesigning a grazing rotation, restructuring a financial model, or connecting you to capital and peers.

How We Can Support
Farm Planning
We design holistic land-use plans that improve soil health, water efficiency, biodiversity, and long-term farm viability, combining ecological principles with practical, farm-specific infrastructure planning.
Livestock Management
We support producers in building regenerative grazing systems that improve soil health, forage diversity, and livestock productivity, while balancing ecological function, economic viability, and producer goals.
Crop & Soil Health
We help improve soil fertility, crop resilience, and nutrient cycling through regenerative management strategies that build long-term productivity and reduce input dependence.
Business Planning & Support
We help farmers build profitable, resilient regenerative enterprises by aligning business planning, financing, market strategy, and infrastructure with ecological, economic, and social outcomes, including support with grants.
Education & Professional Development
We support farmers through hands-on learning and peer-to-peer collaboration; hosting field days, walking the fields, digging soil pits, and sitting down at the kitchen table.
Financial Assistance
The Regenerative Catalyst Fund - Grants and 0% loans for farmers and ranchers ready to grow.
In 2024, Mad Agriculture launched the Regenerative Catalyst Fund (RCF) to provide financial assistance to existing and transitioning regenerative farmers and ranchers to implement projects that catalyze growth and resilience both on the land and in their businesses. RCF is a nimble funding mechanism that allows producers to implement regenerative practices from infrastructure and equipment to financial planning and grant writing. Funds are deployed through grants, 0% loans, or a combination of both and deployed on a case by case basis.

With the help of our MAD! Fellows, our team ventured out to Haystack Farms in Boulder County, to do some tree planting. We dug some holes, planted some aspens and chokecherries, covered them up with woodchips, and watered them down.
